A Haunted House

 

Shortly after meeting Stephen, Lauraine moves in. Though it's fireworks at first, she soon wonders if they haven't rushed things a bit. But once she gets a glimpse at Stephen's murky past—in the creaking crevices of his strange old house—there's no tidy way to turn things back.

An in situ adaptation of the piece was performed by Shannon Topinka and Carlo Mestroni in Nervous Hunter's "Domestik" at the Eastern Bloc in Montreal in October, 2009. Read reviews from The Concordian and The Hour.



































The author has also performed his "Study for A Haunted House" in the NewTown Writers' SoloHomo show at the Bailiwick Repertory Theatre and has adapted the full length play for the screen. He has also written and directed a short film based on the script. 
The work was first performed at Gill Park in Chicago 
on December 10, 2005 in a staged reading 
featuring Michael Driscoll and Simone Jubyna.
